Dear Mr (Managers name ),

Dear Mr (Managers  name ),

I would like to resign my position as (<write job title>) with (<company name>) to leave (<DD/MM/YYYY>).

I would like to take this opportunity to say that making this choice has been complex, as working at (<company name>) has been such a positive experience and one for which I am thankful. I have gained a lot here and have enjoyed working with you and my other colleagues in the team.

On the other hand, I am excited about the new position I am undertaking and my decision is irreversible as I am now lawfully bound by having signed a contract.

I am aware of the need to provide support to the (<name of the department>) until my departure and I shall provide my full dedication until then.

I wish (<name of the department>) every success in the future and  appreciate for the opportunities I have been given during my time here.

Yours sincerely,
